Taking a Leave of Absence
I have been trying to avoid this but I have come to this conclusion for a second time since starting this blog. I really hate taking a leave of absence because my following drops significantly, as it should.
The work I do, painting and stripping furniture, using power tools, is not the best work to do around children. In fact it should not be done around small children, like mine, at all. As a stay at home mom, I get most of my work done while my children nap or are at school which has been becoming increasingly harder to find overlapping times. As of this past month, I have run out of pre-planned content which means I now have to create blog posts on the fly with current projects. This process is not really conducive with blog writing and being able to reliably post when my readers expect posts to occur.
I really hate that I am having to do this for I LOVE blogging and MY LITTLE creations. However, I will be a stay at home mom until my kids go to school full time, thus the something that will have to give is my blog. I started blogging and creating as a stress relief, as anyone who stays at home with their children can sympathize. I will still CREATE but just at a much slower pace which is not conducive with my blog schedule.
PLEASE still follow me on Instagram for I will still post behind the scenes pictures of my projects, which I will store up for blog posts at a later date.
